Chandler Antique Wood Flooring specializes in recycling century old long leaf heart-pine wood.  One of the only places to find the last vestiges of this antique wood is reclamation from old buildings.  The beautiful and durable Heart Pine, also known as Southern Longleaf yellow pine, old growth pine or pitch pine, given the name because of the high content of heart content of heart wood, Heart Pine is different from other pines because of the tight growth ring pattern and its unique red – amber color.

Once our team has rescued all usable materials we personally remove all nails and other objects to prepare the wood for our grading process.  During this process we separate the wood into one of these four grades of solid antique wide plank flooring: Select, Premium, Vintage and Dirty Top or rustic. Each of these grades makes a great looking antique wide plank floor, fit for your individual personality and taste.
