This floor is graded to contain consistent amber/red heartwood with the occasional knot and nail hole. The beautiful straight and tight graining of this antique heart pine makes it ideal for your formal floors.

Premium -
This grade of floor is carefully selected to tell a story about the history of the floor. It is graded for its tight graining, small infrequent knots and nail holes. This character coupled with color variation ranging from light red wood to darker red heart wood, enhances the floor's warmth.

Vintage -
Our Vintage Grade Antique Heart Pine flooring is slightly more rustic than our Premium Grade. Although the two grades do contain a similar amount of knots and nail holes, there is greater color variation, and a wider grain pattern in our Vintage Grade. Representing over 100 years of history, the coloring ranges from light blonde sap wood to deep red heart wood.

Dirty Top -
A century or two of exposure to sun, wind, and rain creates an unmatchable rich, deep character in our Dirty Top Heart Pine flooring. We chose to preserve this centuries-old surface with its impressive depth of color and personality. The characteristics of this floor include the original saw marks, color variation, random knots and nail holes.
